Dada
Dada was an avant-garde movement emerging during World War I, a nihilistic reaction against the chaos of the time. It aimed to challenge traditional concepts of art and social norms, often through collaboration, spontaneity, and seemingly random chance.
The Arts and Crafts movement originated in England during the second half of the 19th century, as a reaction against the mass production and poor quality of decorative arts resulting from the Industrial Revolution. It emphasized the importance of craftsmanship, the use of high-quality materials, and the aesthetic value of handmade objects.
